Teens Due In Court Today to Face Charges In Police Chase

CLEVELAND (AP) - The three teenagers who led Cleveland police on a chase that ended in the death of a pedestrian are facing a number of charges, including aggravated vehicular homicide.

Police say a stolen car driven by a 13-year-old boy hit and killed a 57-year-old Brecksville woman Saturday night in downtown Cleveland as she was crossing the street.

Police say the teen driver was fleeing a patrol car that had tried to pull him over.

Three of the boys were arrested soon after the accident and are due in court later today.

Authorities say they are also facing charges of grand theft, involuntary manslaughter, failure to comply and leaving the scene of an accident.
