EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Today's soaking storms came fast and furious - over three inches of rain fell in as many hours.
Roadways quickly became impassable, homes flooded and one area hospital stopped accepting patients after two inches of water seeped into the emergency room.
MetroHealth was forced to go on full diversion around 9:30AM due to flooding in 80% of the emergency room.
And while ambulances transported patients to different hospitals - people who drove their own cars to the hospital were not turned away.
On a typical day at the noontime hour, Metro ER treats as many as 80 patients but today, only 20 people were being treated in the emergency room.
