Cleveland Homicide Suspect Arrested In Kentucky

Carroll County, KY-  Edward A. Taylor, 30-years-old, was arrested Tuesday at a Day's Inn Motel.

Several  perimeters  were  set  up  and  evacuations initiated, to maintain the safety of the general public.

While conducting the surveillance, Taylor exited the motel and was arrested without incident.

Taylor was unarmed and acknowledged his identification.  He was transported to the Carroll County Regional Detention Center in Carrollton awaiting extradition back to Ohio.

A warrant was issued by Cleveland Police shortly after the stabbings for aggravated murder and felonious assault in the July 15th homicide at 13613 Carrington Avenue.

50-year-old Peggy Wallace-Bender of Columbia Station was stabbed multiple times and died of her injuries at the home.

A 63-year-old male was also stabbed multiple times according to Lt. Stacho and he is still recovering at Metro Medical Health Center.
