Special Teams Do All The Scoring, Brady Quinn Still Sidelined

Cleveland, OH - Brady Quinn didn't get the chance to play in his first preseason game with the Browns, who defeated the Kansas city Chiefs 16-12 last night in Cleveland.

With their first-round pick standing on the sidelines holding a clipboard, Charlie Frye and Derek Anderson began their battle for the Browns' starting quarterback job.

Frye finished 12-of-15 for 122 yards, but he had two plays that hurt the Browns. Kansas City's Benny Sapp returned a Frye lateral 56 yards for a touchdown in the first half. And moments later, Frye's clock mismanagement cost the Browns a chance to score before halftime.

Anderson went 7-of-16 for 76 yards and underthrew several passes.

Phil Dawson kicked three field goals for the Browns, who won it on Chris Barclay's 88-yard kickoff return with 1:36 to play.
