College Students Arrested In Connection With Dorm Fire

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio (AP) - Two Notre Dame College students have been arrested in connection with a fire last month at a dormitory on the suburban Cleveland campus.

South Euclid police said that 18-year-old Adam Penzenik of Geneva is charged with one count of aggravated arson. A second student is in jail, but has not been charged, so police aren't releasing his name.

If convicted, Penzenik could face up to eight years in prison.

The Feb. 21 fire destroyed a kitchen and lounge at Harks Hall and caused $250,000 worth of damage.

Three students were treated for smoke inhalation. The dorm's 62 residents still haven't been able to move back in.
