CBS Working On Plan B In Case Letterman Leaves

NEW YORK - Should Late Show host David Letterman leave CBS when his current contract expires this summer, the network will reportedly be ready, 19/43 News reported.

Rumors have been flying that Letterman (pictured, right) might go over to ABC, and if that happens, CBS might just fill his seat with the self-proclaimed "King of all Media" Howard Stern.

A story published on the Internet said that the radio shock-jock is on the "short list" to replace Letterman.

Other Internet stories suggested that CBS brass thinks that Letterman might stay, but they're working on a plan B just in case.
