Teenager Pleads Not Guilty For Shooting Mom, Held On 2 Million Dollar Bond

Akron, OH - The teen accused of shooting his mother was arraigned Wednesday morning. Allen Knot, 19-years-old, pleaded not guilty and was ordered held on bond for 2 million dollars.

Police say Allen Knot shot 38-year-old Shayla Moody at her home in the seven-hundred block of Work Drive on Monday evening.

Moody is in critical condition.

Knot was found hiding in a garage in the two-hundred block of Grand Avenue Tuesday evening and is now locked up at the Summit County Jail.

Knot is charged with attempted murder, felonious assault, and domestic violence.
