Stow-Monroe Falls Teachers Reach Deal, Avoid Strike

Stow, OH - The teachers union has reached a deal with the Stow-Monroe Falls Board of Education for a long-term contract.

"I am very pleased to reach an agreement with both associations," said Superintendent Russell D. Jones. "We look forward to working cooperatively to continue the Excellent rating we received from the Ohio Department of Education."

No details will be released until both unions and the Board of Education have ratified the agreement.

The first day of school for students is Tuesday, August 28th.
