Vick's Jerseys Sent to Humane Society

ATLANTA (AP) - Former fans of Atlanta Falcons' quarterback Michael Vick have found a way to use their Vick jerseys. They are sending them to the Atlanta Humane Society and so far about 12 jerseys have been used for animal bedding as well as rags to clean up after dogs.

Wayne Pacelle (PUH'-cell-ee), the president of the Humane Society of the United States, calls the use of the jerseys "kind of appropriate."

A spokeswoman for the Atlanta Humane Society says many of the jerseys were accompanied with financial contributions with letters of outrage over the charges filed against Vick.
