$500,000 Heroin Seizure, Mexican Illegals Arrested

CLEVELAND - Michael McGrath, Chief of the Cleveland Division of Police, and Cuyahoga County Sheriff Gerald McFaul, Saturday announced the arrest of two Mexican nationals following a three month investigation into heroin trafficking on Cleveland's west-side.

A half million dollars of heroin was seized along with thirty-five pounds of marijuana and nearly $29,000 cash following the execution of three search warrants on Wednesday, August 22 involving two addresses and a motor vehicle in Cleveland.

Arrested were 42-year old Felix Quinones and 28-year old Jose Arios, both Mexican nationals illegally in the United States.

Each is being held for investigation of trafficking in narcotics and is in City jail awaiting charges.

Cleveland Police and Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office narcotics detectives began an investigation into heroin trafficking on Cleveland's west-side following an anonymous tip phoned into Cleveland Police.

Narcotics detectives built a case against Quinones and Arios after making numerous undercover drug buys which implicated Quinones in the trafficking operation.  After gathering overwhelming evidence to support charges against Quinones detectives secured a series of search warrants which led to the seizure of the illicit narcotics for which the men were arrested and will face charges.

Tyrod Taylor is the present, and Baker Mayfield is the future, but what would happen if, say, Taylor suffered an injury in Week 2? Would Hue Jackson automatically turn it over to Mayfield?
