Bobby Cutts Jr. Waives Right To Speedy Trial

Canton, OH - Bobby Cutts Jr. waived his right to a speedy trial Tuesday morning. The former Canton Patrolman could receive the death penalty if convicted of aggravated murder.

The trial was set for September 18th, but since Cutts waived his rights, a new trial date has yet to be assigned.

The former Canton Police Officer is accused of murdering his pregnant girlfriend, Jessie Marie Davis, and her unborn child.

Myisha Ferrell, who allegedly helped Cutts dispose of Davis' body, also waived her right to a speedy trial Tuesday morning. The judge ordered that her trial begin in November.
