COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Ohio State and Miami have scheduled home-and-home football games in 2010-11, with the second leg the first time the Buckeyes will play a regular season game in Florida.
The first game will be played Sept. 4, 2010, in Columbus. The Buckeyes and Hurricanes will play in Miami on Sept. 17, 2011.
Ohio State and Miami have met only twice previously, with each school winning once. Ohio State won 10-0 in the 1977 season opener in Columbus. The Hurricanes beat the Buckeyes 23-12 in the 1999 Kickoff Classic.
The Buckeyes have played in 10 bowl games in Florida, including a 27-10 win over Colorado in the 1977 Orange Bowl, Miami's home stadium.
