Suspect In Shooting Death Turns Himself In

AKRON, Ohio (AP) - Akron police said that a suspect in one of three shooting deaths in two days has turned himself in.

Investigators said that Napoleon Mitchell, 29, from Akron, surrendered Sunday morning at the police station.

Mitchell was charged with aggravated murder in the shooting death of 29-year-old Jermaine King from Strongsville. The shooting happened on Saturday.

Police are still investigating the other two shooting deaths.

Roy Addison, 39, was shot in the back of the head on a street on Friday. Less than nine hours later, 32-year-old Jeannette Martee was found dead in her home only a few blocks away.

Police said that the two were boyfriend and girlfriend, but did not indicate any link between the two killings.
