Parents Furious About School's Treatment Of Children

EUCLID, Ohio - Some parents in Euclid are furious about the treatment that their children got at school, 19/43 News reported.

Pepper spray, which is normally used for self-defense, was used on more than a dozen Euclid students on Monday.

According to one of the students, two boys were fighting and security guards let loose with the spray, which got into the eyes of other students nearby.

The news has angered some parents.

"I mean we're talking about 11- or 12-year-olds," angry parent Kimberly Royster said. "Why are we using pepper spray on small kids? That's very alarming to me."

School administrators would not return phone messages left by 19/43 News, but they did tell the Roysters that the use of pepper spray is part of school policy.
