Police Officers Back Home After Being Injured In Crash

CLEVELAND - Two Cleveland police officers are back home on Wednesday after being injured in the line of duty on Tuesday night, 19/43 News reported.

EMS crews had to rush the officers from the scene of a car accident.

After hitting the officers' patrol car, the driver of an SUV, Steve Maxsey, plowed through the front of a building at the intersection of East 21st Street and St. Clair Avenue. Maxsey has admitted that he plowed into the officers when he turned away for a split-second.

Maxsey is expected to face charges, but he has not yet been charged.
