Company Recalls Frozen Chicken Nuggets

WASHINGTON (AP) - Iowa-based Advance Brands is recalling 20,000 pounds of fully cooked, frozen chicken nuggets.

The Agriculture Department says that the nuggets could cause allergic reactions to people who are sensitive to milk products.

The nuggets were produced between December 17, 2001, and April 17, 2002. They were distributed in Ohio, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Texas and Oregon.

The recall applies to 12-ounce trays of "Fast Fixin' Hot & Spicy Chicken Breast Nuggets, White Breast Meat, Fully Cooked."

Advance Brands voluntarily recalled the products because they do not show that they contain a milk product.

The department says that the recall also applies to other various sized packages of the same product.

Customers are urged to return the items to the place of purchase.
