Man Suspected Of Shooting 2 Police Officers Might Be Hiding In Northeast Ohio

EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio – The man accused of shooting two police officers in Detroit, as well as another person, could be hiding out in northeast Ohio, Action News reported.

Local authorities are urging you to be on the lookout for 32-year-old Loren Key (pictured, right).

Police spent the weekend scouring parts of East Cleveland, where Key's rap sheet began as a teen-ager with theft, aggravated battery and aggravated burglary convictions.

"They came here at about 7 p.m. and searched my whole house," one East Cleveland resident said. "But, I don't even know who they're looking for."

Key was released from prison in December after serving time for drug crimes. He reportedly had since said that he would never go back to jail -- a promise that might have led to the weekend shootings in Detroit.
