Body Of Second Victim Of Rafting Accident Found

WILLOUGHBY, Ohio (AP) - The body of the second victim of a rafting accident on the rain-swollen Chagrin River two weeks ago was found Sunday along a nearby Lake Erie beach.

A man walking in Eastlake along the beach near the mouth of the river found the body of Charlie Trizza, 19, of Lyndhurst, according to Willoughby Fire Chief Mel House.

The body was found about 4 miles from the accident location.

Trizza and Chad Schreibman, 18, also of Lyndhurst, were thrown into the river when their raft overturned May 12 at a small dam in the Cleveland suburb. Schreibman's body was found later that day.

The force of the river sucked the men under at the bottom of the dam, fire officials said.
