Local Man Recovering After Fight With Pizza Shop Worker

AKRON, Ohio - A Summit County man was recovering on Thursday after being seriously injured in a fight with a pizza shop worker, Action News reported.

Raymond Norman, of Lakemore, Ohio, went to the Castle Pizza on Kenmore Boulevard in Akron on Tuesday night and ordered two sub sandwiches. He returned a little while later to complain that grease from the subs had gotten on his clothes.

Norman demanded a complimentary drink, but the pizza clerk refused.

The two men started fighting and the clerk hit Norman with a metal spike that is usually used to put receipts on.

After the attack, Norman was taken to Akron General Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition.
