Indians Put Nagy On Disabled List

CLEVELAND (AP) - More elbow problems for Cleveland Indians pitcher Charles Nagy means another trip to the disabled list for the right-hander.

The Indians placed Nagy on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to Wednesday because of an aggravation of a previous injury in his right elbow.

Nagy has been pitching long relief with the Indians this year, compiling a mark of 0-1 with an 11.29 earned run average in 10 games.

It's the fifth time Nagy has been on the disabled list since having elbow surgery two years ago. He's expected to begin a rehabilitation assignment in Triple A Buffalo in a few days.

The Indians have called up Nerio Rodriguez from Buffalo to take his place. He's 4-2 with a 1.80 ERA in 11 games with the Bisons.
