Police Still Looking For Suspects In Killing Of OSU Student

The student

died
early Sunday morning after he was shot through the rear window of a car he was riding in near campus, police said.

David Slater Jr., 22,

of Toledo,
was pronounced dead at the Ohio State
University Medical Center at 12:16 a.m., according to a Columbus
police report.

Slater was shot after an argument with someone, the report said.

Ohio State University Police issued a crime alert to students

and faculty that said the suspects are two 19- or 20-year-old black
men. Wearing jeans and T-shirts at the time of the shooting, they
each are about six feet tall and weigh between 150 and 160 pounds, the alert said.

Police said a witness to the shooting drove Slater from the

scene and called authorities who took Slater to the hospital.
