Clarinet Added To Titanic Exhibit At Science Center

CLEVELAND - If you have not yet seen the Titanic exhibit at the Great Lakes Science Center, there's a new reason to go, Action News reported.

On Tuesday, a new addition was made to the collection -- an almost perfectly restored clarinet.

There's an interesting story behind the musical instrument.

The clarinet's owner missed Titanic's departure because he got into a bar fight. His friend, however, did make it aboard with the clarinet owner's trunk. The friend died when Titanic sunk after hitting an iceberg.

The pair was traveling the world together. Their journey began from Buffalo, N.Y.
