CLEVELAND – Two people accused of operating a prostitution ring involving teen-age girls were taken to jail on Tuesday following a raid by Cleveland Police, Action News' Ed Gallek reported.
It was a story that you could have only seen on Action News.
When Cleveland's Sex Crimes Unit detectives raided a home near the intersection of Warner Road and Rosewood Avenue, only Action News cameras were rolling.
Investigators said they believe that a man and woman ran a prostitution operation at the house involving their own 14-year-old daughter and other young girls.
Action News confronted the suspects as they were being taken away, but they simply denied the accusation of running a prostitution ring.
Action News covered the faces of the suspects because no charges have yet been filed.
Police seized videotapes and pornographic pictures from the home -- evidence that Sex Crime investigators would thoroughly examine.
