SOLON, Ohio – A water tower in Solon collapsed at an industrial park late Thursday afternoon, Action News reported.
Action News was first to report that the privately owned water tower, which was more than 40 years old, split and fell to the ground. Luckily, no homes were near where the tower had stood on Naiman Parkway off of Miles Road.
From the Action News Chopper, the mess was clear. Rushing water had spilled out everywhere.
Two men in their 40s were taken to Hillcrest Hospital. Both of them were listed in stable condition.
