Browns Sign Fourth-Round Pick To 3-Year Deal

BEREA, Ohio (AP) - The Cleveland Browns signed fourth-round draft pick Ben Taylor to a three-year contract on Friday.

Taylor, who played at Virginia Tech, is the fifth of the Browns' eight draft picks to sign a contract with the team. The 6-foot-1, 236-pound linebacker was a first-team All Big East selection for the 2001 season. He played at Bellaire High School in eastern Ohio.

The Browns have not signed their top three draft picks, including No. 16 overall pick William Green, a running back from Boston College. Green's agent is expected to come to Cleveland on Monday to finalize a contract.

Terms of Taylor's contract were not disclosed.
