Road Opening 23 Years After It Was Closed For Repairs

CANTON, Ohio (AP) - Since 1979, what used to be Cheyenne Avenue in Canton Township has actually been a road less traveled. Township trustees say the street is reopening today after being closed for repairs for 23 years.
The biggest roadblock to the repairs that a deteriorated bridge that had to be replaced. Also, there was a legal dispute over who was responsible for erecting a rail crossing signal.
