VIENNA, Ohio (AP) - Republican John McCain is meeting up with running mate Sarah Palin (PAY'-lihn) for a rally in northeast Ohio.
Alaska Gov. Palin arrived in the region on Monday for a fundraiser in Canton. She and McCain planned to appear together Tuesday at a rally in Vienna, in Trumbull County.
Palin had planned additional stops in Ohio but postponed fundraisers scheduled in Dayton and Cincinnati because of the state of emergency and power outages from Sunday's wind storm. A campaign spokesman said the vice presidential nominee didn't want her visit to cause any diversion of personnel or resources.
Palin told donors at the event in Canton that she and Sen. McCain were watching the turmoil on the financial markets and would reform Wall Street.
