Editorial: Editorial Feedback

Cleveland, OH - At the end of each editorial, we ask our viewers to write and let us know what you think.   From time-to-time we enjoy sharing the opinions you send us.

Recently, I talked about how religion and politics is a slippery slope, especially if you are a Catholic and a Democrat. Josh Hills stated, "I would just like to thank you for your editorial on Catholic politicians and their incorrect view on abortion and the church. Most news stations like to skirt the issue, however, you reported what they said and did not take sides. I applaud you for that."

Marjorie Hildebrandt feels that the schools shouldn't be to blame for another bad state report card, "When did it become the sole responsibility of the school to provide emotional support, educational support, and medical support for our children? Why don't parents pick up the slack to nurture the souls and minds of their kids?"  Hard to disagree with that opinion, Marjorie.

My editorial about the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks reminded people not to forget that day.   Janet Graber said, "Our freedoms are very dear. They leave us more vulnerable, but if we remember that the safety and security of our nation allows us those opportunities, we absolutely need to keep that murder of nearly three thousand people on our minds." And a big amen to that, Janet.

Thank you for sharing your opinions with us and, as always, let us know what you think.
