At Large: Public Assistance Sought On Escaped Patient

Akron, OH  - The Ohio State Highway Patrol is seeking the public's assistance in locating Thamedaeus D. Walton, a patient of the Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare System in Northfield. Walton was last seen between 1-1:45PM Thursday at the Terry House Group Home in Akron.

The 28-year-old is a black male, 6'0", weighing 165 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue sweat shirt with a t-shirt underneath. He had a blue or black head scarf, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.

Walton was committed as a result of a finding by Summit County Common Pleas Court. Charges against Walton were Felonious Assault, Domestic Violence and Grand Theft. He had been at the group home in Akron on an overnight stay to determine if he was suitable for release to a community control facility.
