In Court: Popular Radio Personality Answers To Assault Charge

Cleveland, OH - A popular Cleveland radio personality in court Friday morning.

Dominic Dieter from "Rover's Morning Glory" is charged with assault after allegedly throwing a beer bottle from a summertime fest in June.

The bottle hit a female Roverfest fan in the forehead.

Dieter pleaded not guilty to the charge and bond was set at $2,500.

If found guilty, the maximum prison sentence is eight years behind bars.

Dieter's attorney doesn't believe the charge would have any bearing on his client's job status but Clear Channel is taking this seriously.

They had no comment when contacted by 19 Action News.
