Cleveland and Toledo will host festivals and at least some of the 25 ships will stop at Ashtabula, Fairport Harbor, Mentor, Lorain, Vermilion, Huron, Sandusky, Port Clinton and Put-in-Bay.
Details will be announced next week in Lorain, where the U.S. Brig Niagara will visit from Erie, Pa.
Nearly 1 million people are expected to visit the port festivals, said Terri Bell, vice president of IMG Expositions, the event producer.
