Charged: Paramedic Accused Of Sexual Misconduct While On Duty

UPDATE: Cleveland, OH - Cleveland Police announced the arrest of an EMS paramedic named in an assault complaint against a patient being transported in the back of an EMS ambulance.

The Cleveland Police Intelligence Unit conducted a nearly week-long investigation into allegations made against the paramedic.

After reviewing the allegations outlined in the complaint and after consultation with the Prosecutor's Office, the paramedic was arrested.

44-year-old Glenn F. Burks arrested at his home on Monday for investigation of Gross Sexual Imposition. Burks is a twenty-year veteran of the Emergency Medical Service.

He was relieved from duty on Thursday, October 2nd after these allegations surfaced pending the outcome of the police investigation.

Burks charged with Gross Sexual Imposition Tuesday afternoon and is slated to make his first court appearance Wednesday morning.

He's currently being held in the Cleveland City Jail.
