Actress Natalie Portman To Stump For Obama In Toledo Area

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - Barack Obama's presidential campaign is getting some help in the Toledo area this weekend from "Star Wars"' Queen Amidala.

Actress Natalie Portman is scheduled to speak tomorrow morning at an Obama rally at Lourdes (lohrdz) College in suburban Sylvania.

Portman was a star of the three "Star Wars" prequels of recent years. She also was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for the 2005 movie "Closer."

The rally is being co-hosted by the Lourdes Young Democrats and the Obama campaign.
