Lorain County, OH - Police searching for the thugs who stole two new cars from an Amherst Township dealership.

On October 10th, Sliman's Dodge reported two 2009 Dodge Chargers valued at $52K stolen from the lot.

A deputy en route to assist another unit noticed two new Dodge Chargers bearing Ohio temporary tags the night before at an Elyria Township Speedway.

The men were not acting suspiciously nor was there any cause to believe the vehicles were stolen so the deputy continued on his way to offer back-up to the officer in need.

Digital footage from Speedway Fuel shows the males driving the two stolen vehicles and entering the gas station. Both males are shown inside the store watching for the Deputy before exiting.

Anyone with information on the suspected car thieves is urged to contact the Lorain County Sheriff's Office at 440-329-3742.
