Uncovered: FBI searches show Feds interested in CMHA Director George Phillips

Cleveland, OH - The FBI search warrants clearly show the feds are very interested in CMHA Director George Phillips.

They hit his office on Wednesday.  The FBI wants to know who he's playing golf with, why he's talking with Florida real estate agents and any documents linking him with several of the construction companies that have also been raided including Siemens, Reliance Mechanical and Doan Pyramid Electric.

They grabbed Phillip's computer, address books and expense reports.

It appears much of the same type of stuff that the feds were looking for when they raided county commissioner Jimmy Dimora and county auditor Frank Russo's offices.

This all appears to be a search to see if Phillips was living well beyond his means and who he was dealing with while running the oldest public housing authority in the nation.
