Savaged!: Browns GM Says Winslow Deserved Suspension; Listen To WTAM Interview

(Berea) - Browns GM Phil Savage says he had no choice but suspend Kellen Winslow JR for one game.

He tells "Wills and Snyder" it's because Winslow elected to go public with his disparaging comments about how he was treated due to his staph infection.

In a WTAM 1100 exclusive, Savage says Winslow seems to forget that he's not the center of attention, and that the Browns are a team.

Savage also says the NFL has scheduled a Tuesday hearing on Winslow's appeal of the suspension.

Savage sounded angry as he defended himself against Winslow's accusations that he doesn't care about the players.
