GROVE CITY, Pa. (AP) - A northeast Ohio man died and two others were injured after a car crash along Interstate 80 in Mercer County, Pennsylvania, on Sunday.
Pennsylvania state police said that 20-year-old Joshua Christie, of Stow, died when the car he was riding in drifted into the berm of the highway and struck a guardrail when the driver lost control trying to get back on the road.
The car traveled another 40 feet before hitting an embankment near Pine, about 50 miles north of Pittsburgh.
The driver of the car, 17-year-old John Brown, of Akron, was treated for minor injuries. Another passenger, 18-year-old Nathan Dial, of Akron, was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital.
