Indians Recall Coco Crisp

CLEVELAND (AP) - Outfielder Coco Crisp was recalled by the Cleveland Indians from Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday to take over for injured outfielder Milton Bradley.

Crisp hit .246 with Cleveland in 14 games in August after being acquired from the St. Louis Cardinals for Chuck Finley in July.

Crisp was optioned to Buffalo on Aug. 30 and played in three International League playoff games with the Bisons last week.

Buffalo will have to continue its playoff run without Crisp, recalled after Bradley left Monday's game with a strained left oblique muscle. The Indians were awaiting the results of an MRI.
