Browns Sign Offensive Lineman

BEREA, Ohio (AP) - The Cleveland Browns waived fullback R.J. Bowers from their active roster on Wednesday and dropped offensive lineman Kaulana Noa from the practice squad.

The club also signed rookie offensive lineman Chad Beasley to the active roster.

Beasley, who was drafted by Minnesota in the seventh round this year, was waived by the Vikings on Aug. 27. The 6-foot-5, 303-pounder played at Virgina Tech.
