Parents Fight For Custody Of Surviving Child

CLEVELAND - The parents of a little boy killed in a foster home are fighting to get back custody of their surviving child, Action News reported.

Despite a medical verdict that refuted child abuse allegations made against them, the biological parents of 2-year-old Devin Wilder -- Rickie and Antoinette Wilder -- are still trying to get their baby girl back.

Devin died nearly two years ago in foster care at the hands of a teen-ager. Shortly after taking Devin, the county took his baby sister Makenna away from the couple, accusing them of child abuse.

They came to that conclusion because Makenna had a lot of broken bones. Doctors, however, have since ruled that the injuries were the result of Brittle Bone Syndrome.
