EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio (AP) – A police officer in East Cleveland was shot in the line of duty early Tuesday morning, Action News reported.
The shooting happened at approximately 1 a.m., after officers were called to a robbery.
The suspect fired into the squad car, hitting officer Terrance Dunn in the abdomen. Fortunately, he was wearing a bulletproof vest and was simply treated at a local hospital and released.
Another officer fired back, hitting the suspect in the neck.
