New anchors debut on CBS morning show

New York-AP -- Former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani helped CBS' new morning team unveil their revamped show -- by reading cue cards to introduce upcoming segments.

"The Early Show" now features four anchors who take turns reading the news and conducting interviews. They also chat about a new topic each day in a segment called "The Early Line." Today's discussion on anxiety featured a disagreement between anchors-and-mothers Hannah Storm and Rene Syler on whether they would send their children to school with a sniper on the loose.

But the four hosts struggled for their roles in the Giuliani segment, mixing talk about his "wonderful book" and "new hairdo" with a meaty question from Storm about the sniper case.

Former "CBS This Morning" host Harry Smith and "The Early Show" holdover Julie Chen round out the new team.
