Women charged with kidnapping bank executive plead guilty

CLEVELAND - Two women charged with kidnapping and robbing a National City Bank vice president pleaded guilty on Wednesday, Action News reported.

Action News broke the story back in July.

Melissa Hughes and Angela Sears each faced a judge on Wednesday.

Joseph Parker said that the two women jumped in his car at West 48th Street and Lorain Avenue when he stopped for coffee.

Parker said that they threatened to kill him and made him take out $10,000 from a Brooklyn bank.

Sentencing for the two women is expected to happen next month.
