Woman accused of storming center ring at circus faces judge

CLEVELAND - A Cleveland woman accused of running wild at the circus faced a judge on Thursday morning, Action News reported.

Amanda Jones, 22, is facing multiple charges of criminal trespassing.

Jones entered a not guilty plea for the weekend incident at Gund Arena, where the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.

Jones, who is affiliated with the Ohio animal-rights organization Mercy for Animals, is accused of storming the center ring with a banner reading "Ringling tortures animals."
