CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A cold front moved through earlier today. High pressure will build in southwest of our region before another cold front drops in on Thursday. High pressure will return to northern Ohio for the upcoming weekend.
Short Term Forecast:
Good evening! We are looking at scattered, occasional, light snow showers through the night tonight. Temperatures will fall into the upper 20s by early tomorrow morning.
With temperatures falling below freezing, any lingering moisture on roads and sidewalks will freeze. That means you’ll need to watch out for a few slick spots on your Tuesday morning drive/walk.
The Cold Returns:
After climbing into the 60s on Sunday, we’re looking at very chilly temperatures through the upcoming weekend.
Tuesday’s high: 34°
Wednesday’s high: 34°
Thursday’s high: 37°
Friday’s high: 29°
With colder air streaming in, snow chances will return over the coming days. A few passing snow showers are possible Tuesday and Wednesday.
More widespread snow will move through on Thursday afternoon/early evening, as our next cold front swings through.
How cloudy was November? It was ridiculous, wasn’t it? Day #1 and Day #3 of December weren’t so great either.
But finally, FINALLY, we have sunshine to talk about. Friday and Saturday are looking partly sunny and dry. Clouds will thicken up for Sunday.
Despite the sun, things will remain chilly.
Saturday’s high: 30°
Sunday’s high: 34°
