CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - We’re wrapping up the weekend with clouds moving in tonight. The more cloud cover we get, the “warmer” temps we’ll get overnight. Still, we’ll be dropping to near 20 degrees.

Forecast: Cold start to the work week

We’re also keeping a close eye on winds through the overnight, depending on how long it takes for them to shift from the N to the W/SW, we could get a few flurries overnight along the lakeshore that could linger through the afternoon tomorrow.

A bit more cloud cover expected for Monday, but overall we'll stay mostly sunny with the chance for a few flurries along the lake. Highs will be similar to what we saw Sunday, topping out in the middle 30s.

Much of the same on tap for both Tuesday and Wednesday, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the 30s.

We're already watching the end of the week for our next system to move in.

We won’t have a big ridge of high pressure to “protect” us from this one, but the good news is, as things warm through the end of the week, we’ll be dealing with warmer air heading into the weekend, meaning we’ll mostly be dealing with all rain by late Thursday.

Rain chances move in starting late Thursday, and rain will continue through Friday and the start of the weekend. Colder air looks to move in by Sunday, so there is a chance we could see the snow return by the following week.

Enjoy the next few days of quiet weather!
