“My law enforcement career started on the Shelby PD Auxiliary in 1990. Over the years, I have seen a lot of unbelievable things. Things that other people would never believe unless they saw it with their own eyes. I will put this story into that category,” Shelby Chief of Police Lance Combs wrote on Facebook.

Police say the huge hunk of metal was actually stolen from a business and Mansfield. The driver confessed plans to sell it to a recycling facility.

Only in Mansfield...so I'm sitting at work today and someone pulls up behind our dealership with thier Chevy Colbalt. Jumps out and straps a chain around my dealerships backhoe bucket and attempts to drive off with it? This is the video of my lot tech following behind him...smh just wow!
