CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The Cleveland Browns are now 5-7-1, with that record they are currently in the hunt for playoff contention.

Things are looking up for the Browns' hopeful, but they could be better, a whole lot better.

Close but no cigar

(This kick may have foreshadowed the season)

Looking back, the Browns have more than a few games that should be in the win column.

Reflecting brought us to the Pigskin Poll question of the week:

Everyone remembers the L the Browns took Week 2 against the New Orleans Saints (11-2) 21-18.

That was the game with the infamous kicking woes from then-placekicker Zane Gonzalez.

The heartbreak was just as bad Week 4 when the Browns fell to the Oakland Raiders (3-10) 45-42.

Quarterback Baker Mayfield finished with nearly 300 yards in the shootout, but it just wasn’t enough.

Another one

The Browns lost another overtime game against the Tampa Buccaneers (5-8) 26-23.

The Bucs clinched the victory with this 59-yard field goal by Chandler Cantanzaro.

Are you upset yet?

One more for the road

The last Brownies loss came courtesy of the Houston Texans (9-4).

They got spanked 29-13 in Texas in a game that was never really close.

Right now the Browns are third in the AFC North, but they could shake things up with a victory this weekend.

The Browns are scheduled to play the Denver Broncos Saturday, Dec. 15, at 7:20 p.m.
