CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The Browns' playoff hopes were dashed on Saturday, but they kept the excitement alive as they took the win over the Cincinnati Bengals at FirstEnergy Stadium.

The Browns went into the locker room at halftime with 16-0 on the board.

Browns WR Jarvis Landry even got in on the throwing action, he had 63 passing yards after a trick play.

Cleveland RB Nick Chubb also dominated the game, officially breaking the Browns' rookie rushing record, surpassing Trent Richardson (950 in 2012) and Jim Brown (942 in 1957).

The Bengals offense was not clicking in the first half, Cincinnati only had 36 yards in the first two quarters.

The Browns kept the momentum going with a 26-3 lead in the 4th quarter.

However, that lead quickly diminished as the Bengals caught a second wind and closed the gap 26-18 with 2:56 left in the game.

Lucky for the Dawg Pound, the Browns kept the lead to get their third straight win.

The Browns will play against the Baltimore Ravens in the final game of the season on Dec. 30.
