GF Default - Cleveland 19 Tailgate Browns vs. Ravens

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -The Browns take on the division-rival Ravens today at 4:25 p.m. in what will be the final game of a very surprising season.

Cleveland 19 Tailgate: Browns’ future bright as they close out the season against Ravens

They were 2-6-1 after losing to the Steelers on Oct. 28 and a turnaround did not seem likely.

That’s when the decision to fire coach Hue Jackson and offensive coordinator Todd Haley. Defensive coordinator Gregg Williams was promoted to interim head coach.

Now sitting at 7-7-1, the Browns can finish above .500 for the first time since 2007 and just the third time since they returned to Cleveland via expansion in 1999.

Having already been eliminated from the playoffs, nothing but pride is on the line today. It’s a different story for the Ravens, who are in a win-and-they’re-in situation against the Steelers.

Today on Tailgate 19:

  • How do the Browns, and the Steelers for that matter, feel about their success being tied to that of their biggest rival?
  • Baker Mayfield responds to ongoing criticism from Fox Sports' notoriously awful Colin Cowherd
  • Nick Chubb on breaking the franchise rookie rushing record in win over the Bengals
  • Tom Brady wants to play beyond 2018—maybe forever?

The game was originally scheduled to be played at 1 p.m., but it has been flexed to the 4:25 p.m. spot by the NFL powers that be.

Remember to tune into the Cleveland 19 for the game and join us at 10 & 11 p.m. for the late news and highlights.
